Majed Tamim

Majed builds business systems — the unglamorous, essential kind: payment and POS platforms, integrations, admin tooling, and the infrastructure that keeps them honest. His work centres on .NET, Go and React with TypeScript, deployed on Azure and AWS.

Since August 2026 he has been CTO at Flo Pay AB, part of Northmill Group, responsible for technology strategy, architecture and engineering across its fintech and payments platform, including integrations with payment providers, acquiring and banking infrastructure, and AI-assisted engineering workflows. Before that he co-founded GeniusPay AB and led it as CTO, worked as a backend, IoT and full-stack engineer at Purspot, and spent almost six years at Cortexia AB, first as a full-stack engineer and then as CTO on contract. He has built software professionally since 2019 and has an engineering background from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

He follows the AI-agent tooling ecosystem closely and builds with it daily. AlgoSweden Studio, now in development, is planned as both a product and a working demonstration of that approach: useful speed, engineered boundaries, human accountability. His public open-source work includes image-studio, a local Qwen-Image studio for Apple silicon Macs. AlgoSweden itself is deliberately small: the engineer you talk to is the engineer who builds.
