Terms of Service
Effective date: 15 July 2026 Last updated: 15 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the algosweden.se website and, together with the AlgoSweden Studio Licence Terms, your use of AlgoSweden Studio at app.algosweden.se. By using the website or the service, you accept these terms. When you purchase a Studio subscription, you additionally accept them expressly at checkout.
These terms are provided in English and in Swedish. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
1. Who we are
AlgoSweden is the trading name of Majed Tamim, a private individual based in Stockholm, Sweden. There is currently no separate company behind the service: when these terms say "AlgoSweden", "we", or "us", your agreement is with Majed Tamim personally, trading as AlgoSweden. If the service is later transferred to a registered company, this section will be updated and existing users notified as described in section 10.
- Contact (all matters): majed.tamim@algosweden.se
- Website: algosweden.se · Studio: app.algosweden.se
2. Consumers and business users
- Business users: if you use the service in the course of a trade, business, or profession, these terms apply in full.
- Consumers: if you use the service as a private individual for purposes mainly outside your trade or business, nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory Swedish and EU consumer protection law (including the Consumer Sales Act, konsumentköplagen, as it applies to digital content and services, and the Distance Contracts Act, lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). Where these terms conflict with those mandatory rights, the mandatory rights prevail.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at majed.tamim@algosweden.se if you suspect unauthorised use.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
4. Acceptable use
Use of the website and service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no illegal content, no malware, no attacks on the platform or other users, no abuse of APIs or rate limits, and no resale of the platform. Breaches can lead to suspension or termination as described in the AUP's enforcement ladder.
5. Intellectual property
- Our IP: the website, the Studio platform, our branding, and all software, design, and content we provide remain the property of AlgoSweden or its licensors. You receive only the limited rights expressly granted in these terms and the Studio Licence Terms — no other rights are transferred.
- Your content and generated code: ownership of code generated in Studio, and of content you upload, is addressed in the Studio Licence Terms. In brief, you own your generated code.
- Feedback: if you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them to improve the service without obligation to you.
6. Third-party services
The service depends on third-party providers (for example authentication, payments, sandbox infrastructure, and AI model providers). Their availability is outside our full control. Which providers process data, and where, is described in the Data Processing Overview. Generated code may also be subject to third-party model provider terms, as described in the Studio Licence Terms and the AI-Generated Code Disclaimer.
7. Disclaimers
- The website and its content are provided for general information and are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law.
- AI-generated output is probabilistic and unreviewed by default. Our AI-Generated Code Disclaimer applies to all generated code and forms part of these terms.
- We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we work to keep it reliable. Any service level commitments, if offered, are stated in the applicable plan documentation.
For consumers, statutory warranties and remedies under mandatory law remain unaffected.
8. Liability
For business users, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data (beyond our data export obligations), or loss of business.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid to us for the service during that period, or, if you paid no fees, SEK 5 000.
- Nothing excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Swedish law.
For consumers, our liability is governed by mandatory consumer protection law; the caps above apply only to the extent permitted by that law.
You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the service. This indemnity applies to business users only.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access as described in the Acceptable Use Policy and the Studio Licence Terms. You may stop using the website at any time; cancellation of paid subscriptions is described in the Studio Licence Terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes affecting existing users, we will give reasonable advance notice by email or in the service (at least 30 days for changes that are to your detriment, unless a shorter period is required for legal or security reasons). If you do not accept a change, you may terminate before it takes effect. The current version is always published at algosweden.se, with its effective date stated at the top.
11. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. For consumers habitually resident in another EU/EEA country, mandatory provisions of that country's law remain available to you.
- Business users: disputes shall be resolved by the Swedish courts, with the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
- Consumers: you may bring proceedings in the courts of your home country where EU law so provides. Consumers in Sweden may also refer disputes to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se. We participate in ARN proceedings in accordance with applicable law. Before opening a dispute, we encourage you to contact us at majed.tamim@algosweden.se — most issues are resolved directly.
12. Miscellaneous
- If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, with notice to you.
