Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to all use of algosweden.se and AlgoSweden Studio (app.algosweden.se). It forms part of our Terms of Service and Studio Licence Terms. The goal is simple: keep the platform safe for everyone who builds on it.

1. Prohibited content and output

You may not use the service to create, generate, host, or distribute:

content or code that is illegal under Swedish or EU law, or under the law that applies to you;
malware or abusive software — including viruses, ransomware, spyware, credential stealers, phishing kits, botnet controllers, or tooling whose primary purpose is unauthorised access, denial of service, or fraud;
content that infringes others' intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
content involving the exploitation or sexualisation of minors — this leads to immediate termination and, where required, referral to authorities.

Legitimate security work (for example generating test code for systems you are authorised to test) may be acceptable; contact us at majed.tamim@algosweden.se before undertaking it if in doubt.

2. Protecting the platform and other tenants

You may not:

attack, probe, or attempt to bypass the isolation of the sandbox environments, or use a sandbox to attack other sandboxes, other customers ("tenants"), the platform itself, or third-party systems;
attempt to access another customer's projects, data, or sessions;
attempt to discover, extract, or exfiltrate platform secrets — including API keys, service credentials, internal prompts or system instructions, infrastructure configuration, or other AlgoSweden confidential material;
use sandbox compute for purposes unrelated to building with Studio, such as cryptocurrency mining, proxy/relay services, or bulk network scanning;
introduce excessive load intended to degrade the service for others.

3. API and service abuse

You may not:

circumvent rate limits, quotas, seat limits, or plan entitlements, including by creating multiple accounts for that purpose;
scrape or bulk-extract the service other than through documented interfaces;
use stolen, shared, or fabricated credentials, or misrepresent your identity to us;
interfere with security or abuse-prevention mechanisms.

4. No resale of the platform

You may not resell, sublicense, white-label, or otherwise provide the Studio platform itself to third parties. Building and selling your own products created with Studio is expressly allowed — that is what the platform is for. See the Studio Licence Terms, section 3.

5. Enforcement ladder

We aim to apply the least severe measure that resolves the problem. Depending on the severity, frequency, and intent of a violation, we may:

Notify and warn — we contact you, explain the issue, and ask you to remedy it;
Throttle or restrict — temporary rate limiting or disabling of specific features;
Suspend — temporary suspension of the account or specific projects, with notice stating the reason and what is needed for reinstatement;
Terminate — permanent closure of the account for serious or repeated violations (the data-export window in the Studio Licence Terms applies unless the law prohibits it);
Refer — report to law enforcement or affected third parties where the law requires or clearly justifies it.

Immediate action: for violations that pose an urgent risk — active attacks, malware distribution, illegal content, sandbox escape attempts — we may suspend first and notify after. Where we act on your account, you may respond and ask us to reconsider by contacting majed.tamim@algosweden.se.

6. Reporting abuse

If you see abuse of the platform, or believe content on it violates your rights, report it to majed.tamim@algosweden.se. We review reports promptly and act where warranted. This mailbox is also our contact point for notices under the EU Digital Services Act regarding illegal content, and for authorities.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as new abuse patterns emerge. Material changes will be announced as described in the Terms of Service.
